A Note from Rev. Robin
Dear Neighbor,
Thank you for stopping by the Church of Saint Clement website. We hope to meet you in person one Sunday morning. The Church of Saint Clement is a small but growing Episcopal congregation nestled between the Fairlington and Parkfairfax communities, right on the border of Alexandria and Arlington. We are a neighborhood church and many of our members live within a few miles of the church (though we also have some folks who travel over 20 miles to worship with us!).
We have a long history of outreach in our local community; helping those in need through school supply and Christmas toy drives, bag lunch programs in the City of Alexandria, and supporting local organizations like ALIVE!. The Saint Clement preschool has been one of the best in Alexandria for over forty years, and many families from the school are also part of the church community. We are always looking for ways to bring the school and church communities together throughout the year.
Our Sunday morning worship can best be described as a typical Episcopal liturgy taken from the Episcopal Church’s Book of Common Prayer. We celebrate the Eucharist (Holy Communion) where a diverse group of Christians gathers each week to worship God, reflect on Scripture, pray together, greet each other, and meet God in bread, wine and fellowship. All of these things are accompanied by congregational singing, anthems sung by a small but mightily talented choir, and sacred music played by our superb Music Director and Organist, Anne Tyler.

We as a congregation are White, Black, African, Old, Young, Latino, LGBTQ, Wealthy, Asian, Sinner, Saint, Working Class, Spiritually Seeking, Lost, Found, Episcopalian, formerly Catholic, Baptist, Conservative, Liberal, Single, Married... You get the idea. You are welcome here and we hope to see you soon!
