The Church of Saint Clement Audio Sermons are now available to listen to our Sunday service. A Message from the Rector
The fall is the new beginning season for families and parishes. The harvest time somehow still rings true as a signal to get back into things which are vital and bracing, abundant and golden. Perhaps we are quickened by the cooler weather. Perhaps we just find ourselves reliving the feel of seasons when fresh notebooks and new classes meant some progress was to be made. Whatever the reason we have this time to reacquaint ourselves with the gifts God has given us, especially the people whom God has blessed us with.
Here at the Church of St. Clement we have special celebrations of backpack blessings, parish picnic and ministry fair, animal blessing, All Saints, and the wine tasting. It is such a joy to be able to rely on these old and new traditions to bring us awareness of the harvesting work of the Lord in our midst. The seeds He has planted in our hearts have taken root and we can reap the bounty of the fruits of His handiwork. What this means is that we CAN always come home again, home to this place where we are always welcomed and where our gifts are needed and can be used.
May your autumn be filled with grace-filled moments. May this be a time of deep appreciation and peace. |
